Sodus: Age 59, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday December 27th at his home. Originally from Rome, NY, he is the son of Carlton and Angeline DiSanto Collins. Don was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He is survived by his son Jeffrey (Erin) Collins of NH; daughter Jennifer Collins (Vincent LaPiana) of Manchester; granddaughters Nora, Ellie, and Clare; brothers Carlton (Barbara) Collins Jr., Randy (Karrie) Collins, Gary Collins, Ed (Jackie) Collins Sr., and Tony Collins; several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Carlton and Angeline DiSanto Collins, and by brother Joseph Collins.
There will be no prior visitation, and all services which will include Military Honors will be private. Memorial Contributions in Don’s honor should be directed to: Canandaigua Veteran’s Administration Medical Center, 400 Fort Hill Avenue, Canandaigua, NY 14424. Ref: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
