Wolcott: Age 82, entered into eternal rest at the Demay Living Center in Newark on December 29, 2014 following an extended illness. Bob was born a twin on July 2, 1932. (A rumor that a tornado had occurred in Rochester) Bob is survived by his three children; Debra (Cliff) Paige of Martville, Robert K. Nihoff of Boston, and Timothy Nihoff of Peaks Island, Maine; grandson Cory Jarvis of Wolcott; great-grandson Zen Jarvis and Nicholas Harnett; siblings Dorothy Trantham, his twin Betty (Don) Bowman, Barbara (Lester) Hanes, Nancy (Ron) Seelman; several nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his cherished wife Joanie, and by his grandson Jeremy Valentine. A veteran, Bob proudly served in the Navy on board the U.S.S. Endicott (DD-495) where he saw combat action in Korean waters. Bob retired from Xerox in 1994. His passions were the Yankees, the Giants, and fishing. His baseball cap of the day would be from either or. Visitation will not be observed. Services with Military Honors will be held at White Haven Memorial Park on Saturday, June 13th, 10:30 a.m. in the Creation Chapel.
