Sodus: Passed away Tuesday, January 11, 2011 after a courageous battle with cancer. James was born on January 8, 1935 to Leslie and Mabel Derushia Premo. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 56 years, Lucille Terry Premo; his grateful children, Janice (Tammy Haas) Premo, Terry (Leslie Ford) Premo, Jackie (George) Sveda, Tracy (Ruth) Premo, Todd (Betty) Premo, Jocelyn (Nate) Eller, and Jennifer (Dale) Wood; 13 beautiful grandchildren; 31 precious great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Phylis Gorman, Doris (Maynard) Stickney, and Anne Dodge; brother in law, Raymond (Rosanne) Terry; sister in laws, Shirley Wood, Theresa Cirtwell, and Theresa Terry; dearest friends, Roy Wood and Gene and Sally MacNeal; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday, January 14, from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday, January 15, from 11 a.m. – 1 p.m. at NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 W. Main Street in Sodus. James’ funeral service will be Saturday at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made in James’ memory to Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center, 2652 Ridgeway Avenue, Rochester, NY 14626.
