Sodus Point: Called home to be with the Lord on November 17th, 2008 at age 64. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Delores and John Mitchell, and by brother Ronnie Mitchell. He is survived by his wife Barbara J. Mitchell; daughter Stacy (Carl) Carte; sons Robert E. Mitchell, Frank (Tina) Gahr and Billy (Stacy) Gahr; sisters Penny (Henry) Mitchell-Dicky, Shirley (Dick) Dunlap; brother Richard (Beverly) Mitchell; grandchildren Kayleigh N. Gahr, Dakota Carte, Journey Gahr, Tierra Gahr, Montana Gahr and William Gahr Jr. Special Thank You to Sue Allman R.N. for her loving care and support.
There will be no prior visitation. A Wake will be held at the Mitchell residence, 7846 Margaretta Road, Sodus Point on Saturday, November 22nd, from 2 – 5 p.m. Contributions in Bob’s memory may be directed to the American Cancer Society, Mesothelioma research, or to the Silver Waters Community Ambulance Service in Sodus Point.
