Wolcott: Richard L. Salisbury, age 85, passed away on Friday May 8th. Dick is survived by his children Cynthia (Richard) Parks, Richard D. Salisbury, Darling Elleman, and Honey (Jay) Verburg; grandchildren Jeffrey Parks, Amber Bishop, Jason Elleman, Bryon Elleman, Brandon Salisbury, Angel Salisbury, Alexander Verburg, Siera Verburg; several great-grandchildren; nieces, and nephews. Dick was predeceased by his wife Barbara, son Lawrence Salisbury, and his sister Kathy Cornwall. Dick was a veteran of the U.S. Army, having served on active duty from 1951 to 1953. He later served an additional 15 years in the Army Reserve. An electrician in the Wolcott area for many years, Dick also was employed for 35 years at Eastman Kodak. A Memorial Service celebrating his life will be held on Friday, May 15th, 2 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. Interment with Military Honors will be held at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation in Dick’s memory to the Wounded Warrior Project, P.O.
