Sodus: Hazel Allen, age 79, passed away on Friday June 19th at her residence with her loving family by her side. Born May 13, 1936 in Berkeley, West Virginia, she was the daughter of William Earl and Elizabeth Abshire.
Hazel is survived by her daughter Gloria (Bill) Villa; son William (Linda) Allen Jr.; son-in-law Richard Siena; many grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William J. Allen Sr. in 2003, and daughter Elizabeth Allen Siena.
Visitation will be held Saturday, June 27th from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Following a 1 p.m. funeral service, interment ceremonies will be conducted at Sodus Rural Cemetery.
