Ontario: Passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, April 14, at the age of 38. Duane is survived by his wife Ida; stepsons Westley (Jamie) Cayea, Tony (Marie) Holcomb, Toby (Connie) DeShong; grandchildren Austin, Mackenzie and Kayla; mother and stepfather Linda (Terrance) Tyler; sister Theresa (Stacy) Smith; brother Scotty Ray (Jodi) Tyler; grandparents Charlotte and Raymond Timmerman; aunts Joyce (Ellis) Veley, Linda Talley; uncle Richard (Debbie) Steurrys; cousins Lisa, Amy and Jeffery Veley; and several other cousins and many friends. He was predeceased by his father Duane, grandmother Beatrice Ross, mother and father in law Donald and Ruth Holcomb and sister in law Brenda Holcomb.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday, April 19, from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 W. Main Street, Sodus. A private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family. Contributions in lieu of flowers in memory of Duane should be directed to Camp Good Days & Special Times, 1332 Pittsford Mendon Road, P.O. Box 665, Mendon NY 14506.
