Alton: Passed away suddenly on April 21st, at age 76. Roy is survived by his wife of 49 years, Ethel Wigent; daughters Becky (Rick), Rose (Tom); step-children Charlotte Parker, Jim (Donna) Parker, Tom (Judy) Parker and Paul Parker; sisters Dorothy King and Betty Lou (Paul) Evans; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Roy was predeceased by his son Jeffery Wigent and brother Randall Wigent Jr.
Roy along with his wife Ethel owned and operated the Little W Catering and Smorgasbord. He was known for his pizza, as well as his broasted and BBQ chicken.
Family and friends are invited to call on Sunday (4/26) from 1-4 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 West Main St, Sodus. Roy’s funeral service will be held immediately following. Roy’s family has requested that contributions in lieu of flowers be directed to The Palliative Center for Care, St. Ann’s Foundation, 1500 Portland Avenue, Rochester, NY 14621.
