Red Creek: Passed away on Monday, June 29th, age 57 at the Syracuse V.A. Medical Center from an Agent Orange related cancer. Allen is survived by his wife, Monica; son, Rocco (Alicia) Stanley; stepchildren, Robert McNabb, Rhonda (Mark) Ashby, and Rebecca (Jason) Cruitti; grandchildren, Angelina, Mia and Rocco Jr.; six step-grandchildren; special friend, Dave Sweeney; siblings, Dennis (Pamela) Stanley, Bonnae Stanley, and Valerie Tweedie; father Harold (Alice) Stanley; step-father Morris Cooper, step-sister Lorie Cooper and several nieces and nephews. Allen was predeceased by his mother, Geraldine Cooper and step-brother Morris Cooper Jr. Allen was a Viet Nam veteran, having served in the Marine Corps from 1968 – 1976. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, July 6, from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. at the COLVIN-ROBERTSON-NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 5925 New Hartford Street, Wolcott. Allen’s funeral service will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. from the funeral home. Interment will immediately follow at the Community Burial Grounds Cemetery in Wolcott, with full Military Honors Donations in lieu of flowers may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
