Wolcott: Passed away on Tuesday evening, at age 80. Born in Germany, she immigrated to the United States in 1948. Margarete is survived by her daughters, Ruth (Richard) LaBarr of Pultneyville and Karen (John) Monson of Wolcott; grandchildren, Tracy (Patrick) Bliek, Todd (Tammy) LaBarr, John (Amy) Monson, Eric (Angela) Monson and David (Katie) Monson; 11 great grandchildren with another expected in November; sister-in-law, Faith (Chuck) Knope; and several nieces and nephews.
Margarete was predeceased by her husband, Anthony R. LeVecchi in 1988 and son, Donald R. LeVecchi in 1995.
A memorial mass will be held on Saturday, July 25th, 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary Magdalen Church in Wolcott. Interment will follow at Glenside Cemetery in Wolcott. Donations in Margarete’s memory may be directed to Alzheimer’s Association, 2435 East Henrietta Road, Rochester, NY 14620, or to a charity of one’s choice.
