Clay Raymond Mullins, 69, of DeLand, FL passed away on Thursday, October 29, 2009 at his home. Born in Sodus, NY he moved to Florida 18 years ago from Manassas, VA. He was a retired engineer for IBM and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in DeLand, Florida. He is survived by his wife, Shirley; daughter, Sherry Mullins of Alexandria, VA; sons, Raymond Mullins of Danville, VA, Timothy Mullins of Benjamin, UT and David Mullins of Bothel, WA; brother, Walter Michael Mullins of South Carolina; 11 grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 3rd at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, 1345 Aquarius Ave., DeLand.
Consecration and burial will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery in Sodus, Tuesday November 10th at 1:00 p.m. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Volusia/Flagler, 3800 Woodbriar Trail, Port Orange, FL 32129. Local arrangements by the Norton Funeral Home.
