Obituary of Stephen G. "Big Daddy" Phillips

Sodus: Gone too soon at the age of 44. He passed away on Wednesday, November 25, 2009, after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his father, Greg Phillips, in 2002. Stephen is survived and will be sadly missed by his “Mummy”, Helen Phillips; sisters, Karen Brown and his favorite brother-in-law Tom, and Amie Phillips; brother, David (Jenny) Phillips. “Irreplaceable” Uncle Steve to Matthew and Andrew (Heather) Brown, Kyle and Jessica Phillips, Ashley, Cortney and Kerby Simmons. Stephen is also survived by Special Aunt and Uncle, Sharon and Randy Phillips; many aunts, uncles, cousins and a multitude of friends. Stephen was a one-of-a-kind guy and left an impression on everyone he met. His quick wit and sense of humor were endless. Family and friends are invited to a celebration of Stephen’s life on Saturday, December 5th at 11:00 AM at The Maximillian Kolbe Parish (formerly Church of the Epiphany), 105 W. Main Street in Sodus.
