Sodus: Age 60, of Ridge Road, entered into rest on November 27th, following an extended illness. A lifelong resident of Sodus, he previously operated The Car Shop on Ridge Road. Tom was the son of the late Gertrude (Clingerman) and Thomas Smith, Jr. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Diane (Scrooby); his daughter Melissa (John) Bloss and grandson Jamie Bloss of Wolcott; his sister, Sylvia (Howard) DeMay and nephew, Daniel (Becky) DeMay, all of Penn Yan; niece, Lori DeMay of Himrod; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to his funeral service on Thursday, December 3, at 3:00 p.m. at the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 W. Main Street in Sodus. Contributions may be made in his memory to the Humane Society of Wayne County, 1475 County House Road, Lyons, NY 14489.
