Sodus: Passed away on January 9, 2010 following a brief illness at age 85. Jim is survived by daughters Cindy (Richard) Sando of Rochester, Sharon (Richard) Vickerman of Texas; step-daughter Valerie Conner of New York City; 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; and his former wife Barbara Paterson of Florida. Jim was predeceased by his parents Amos and Florence Campbell, his wife Florence, and daughter Donna.
Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 12-2 p.m. from the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 West Main Street in Sodus, where his funeral will be held Wednesday following visitation. In lieu of flowers contributions may be directed to the American Heart Association or the American Diabetes Association. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
