Sodus: Suddenly on Monday, January 25, 2010 at age 77. George is survived by his wife, Hien “Kim” Reithel; children, Penny (Joe) Dodge, Susan (Will) O’Brien, Anne Marie (Larry) Keese, Christopher (Dawn) Reithel and Mary Beth (David) Gardner; step children, Cathy (Anthony) Fiordeliso, Wanda (Todd) Barnhart and Ann Marie Victorious; sister, Shirley Keymel; brothers, Raymond (Marilyn) Reithel and Donald (Sibylle) Reithel; 9 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; and 7 step grandchildren. George was predeceased by his wife, Mary Jo Sprong Reithel and by his parents, Raymond and Frances Reithel.
Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday, January 28, from 2 - 4 & 6 – 8 p.m. at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street in Sodus. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday at 11 a.m. from the Church of the Epiphany in Sodus. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations in George’s memory may be directed to either Sodus Town Ambulance Corps, or to Church of the Epiphany.
