Obituary of Dorothy J. Galloway

Wolcott: February 1st, 2010, age 85 following a brief illness at the Newark-Wayne Community Hospital. A lifelong resident of Wolcott, a 1945 graduate of Leavenworth High School, she later attended Auburn Community College. Dorothy had worked as an interior decorator, a carpenter, raised domestic rabbits, operated a saw sharpening business, and built her own home during the 50’s.
She is survived by nephews Ronald (Florence) Galloway of Baldwinsville, Paul (Cathy) Galloway of Tarpon Springs, FL; several great and great-great nieces, nephews and cousins. Dorothy was predeceased by her parents Leta (Wells) and George Galloway as well as her brother Carlton Galloway all of the Wolcott area.
Visitation will not be observed. A graveside service will be held at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery at the convenience of her family.
