Savannah: Age 72, went to be with the Lord after battling cancer, on February 21st at the Clifton Springs Hospital Nursing Home. Frank was born November 9, 1937 in Sterling, NY, son of Nelson and Ruth Tallman Showers. He was a Navy veteran and enjoyed fishing, camping and bingo.
Frank is survived by his love and best friend of 35 years, Daisy Snyder of Savannah; step sons Donald Brown Sr. of Wolcott, Russell Brown Sr., Douglas (Diane) Brown Sr., and Ricky Brown all of Savannah; his sister Dora Jane of SC; brothers Arnold (Barb) Showers of PA and Robert (Bev) Showers of Almond, NY; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Michael Showers and his parents.
A Memorial service was held on Saturday February 27th at the Lighthouse Community Fellowship Church in South Butler. Spring interment will be at the Parma Center Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be sent to Finger Lakes Hematology and Oncology, 6 Ambulance Dr., Clifton Springs, NY 14432. Arr: Colvin-Norton Funeral Home.
