Alton: Passed away on Tuesday January 11th at the Hildebrandt Hospice Care Center in Greece. Linda is survived by her husband of 21 years, Clark E. Batchelder; children LeeAnn New, Deanna McGarr, Lance DeRomanis; her father Edward Salter Sr.: grandchildren Jered Castle, Andrew Fuller, Tracy Fuller; great-grandchild Drayvin Fuller; brothers and sisters Edward Salter Jr., Sandra Wickman, Daniel Salter, Luann Bellinger; several nieces and nephews. Linda was predeceased by her mother Evelyn Williams Salter, and by her nephew Mark Bellinger.
A Memorial Service celebrating Linda’s life will be held on Saturday, January 22nd, 10 a.m. from the Christian Fellowship Community Church, Covell Road, North Rose. There will be a reception for family and friends following the service. Contributions in Linda’s memory may be directed to the church. Arr: Norton Funeral Home.
