Obituary of Marjorie L. VanderBrook

Sodus/Clifton Springs: Passed away on Sunday, May 16, 2010, age 88 surrounded by her loving family. Marjorie is survived by her husband of 68 years Frank VanderBrook; daughters Linda VanderBrook, Lori (Scot) McClintock and Vicki (Garry) Guggenbickler; grandchildren Sara, Shaun, Holly and Lindsay; great granddaughter Natalie; sister Betty (Lloyd) VandeViver. Marjorie was predeceased by her son, PFC Gary VanderBrook, who was KIA, 1969 in South Vietnam. Marjorie was a Gold Star Mother, a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, a charter member of the Twig Association (Willow) at Myers Community Hospital, a member of the Garden Club of Sodus, the Sodus Go Getters, and along with her husband Frank was an active member of the Sodus United Third Methodist Church. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, 4-7 p.m. at the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 West Main Street, Sodus. Marjorie’s funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday from the Sodus United Third Methodist Church. Interment will be at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
