Sodus: Passed away unexpectedly on Friday November 26th at the age of 83. Douglas is survived by his wife Helen of 61 years; his children Martin (Angel) Gedney, Chris Gedney, Pat (Alfred) Roberts, Bill (Audrey) Gedney, Wayne (Sherri) Gedney, Sharon (Rick) VanHoute, Susan Gedney and Roy (Pam) Gedney; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren. Douglas was predeceased by five brothers, one sister, and a grandson.
Family and friends are invited to call on Friday (Dec 3rd) from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at the
NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 West Main Street in Sodus, where his funeral service will be held on Saturday (Dec 4th) at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Doug may be directed to the Sodus Center Fire Department.
