Sodus: Passed away Saturday September 10th at age 99. George was predeceased by his wife Helena Shultz, and by his granddaughter Sherry Shultz. He is survived by his son Alan (Sharon) Shultz; grandchildren Tracy and Aaron; great-grandchildren Sierra and Gabrielle; brother Harold Shultz; sister-in-law Annie Shultz; special friend Jay Taylor; several nieces and nephews. A World War II Army veteran, George served in the European Theater of operation, where he awarded the American Service Medal, European-Africa-Middle East Service Medal and the Army Good Conduct Medal.
A graveside service with Military Honors will be held at 11 a.m. Friday September 16th, at the Sodus Rural Cemetery. Donations in memory of George may be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation-Rochester, NY Chapter, PO Box 368, Pittsford, NY 14534. Arr: Norton Funeral Home, Sodus, NY.
