Obituary of Minnie T. Mitchell

Sodus: Passed away on December 13th, age 92 at the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons. Minnie was a faithful member of Little Bethel Baptist Church in Sodus, until her health failed. She was the daughter of the late Drayton and Lucy Scott of Tallahassee, FL. Minnie was predeceased by her husband, T.C. Mitchell of Sodus, and two brothers of Philadelphia, PA. She is survived by her sisters Mattie Robinson of Alton, and Alma Spencer of Newark; nephew James Butler Jr. of Newark; niece Delores Scott of Havana, FL; several great nieces, nephews, cousins and her extended family at the Wayne County Nursing Home.
Visitation will not be observed, Minnie’s funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday (12/21) at the NORTON FUNERAL HOME, 45 West Main Street in Sodus. Interment will take place in the spring at the Sodus Rural Cemetery.
