Obituary of Larry J. Maust

Wolcott: Died January 18, 2011, age 61 at the Oswego Hospital. Born in Sodus, he was the son of John and Maxine Maust. Larry is survived by his daughter Marla (Edward) Vinton; son John Maust; his sister Sharon (Charles) Johnson; nieces Holly and Christine; nephew Charles; his former wife Laurie Mayo; and many friends in the Wolcott area. Larry is a former employee at Birdseye Foods in Fulton, and a Navy veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a Gunner’s Mate aboard the USS O’Calahan. Larry had received the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with one bronze star, Combat Action Ribbon and the Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal.
Friends are invited to call Monday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Colvin-Robertson-Norton Funeral Home, 5925 New Hartford Street in Wolcott. His funeral and interment will be held at the convenience of his family.
