Sodus Point: Passed away at his home in Sodus Point on Sunday October 4th, aged 72 years. A Millwright, George was a member of Local 1163 in Rochester, and Local 1996 in Augusta, Maine. He had resided in New York, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, and Maine.
George is survived by his wife Dawn of 33 years; children Bonnie Hogan, Raymond Hogan, Marc Hogan, Julie Tomb, Timothy Musto (Tina), Rodney (Wanda) Musto, Holly (Mark) Lord, and Tammy (David) Musto; his siblings Laurie (John) Foster, Julie (Bill) VanGee, and Carol Hosfeld; grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; former wife and friend Gloria Sissom. George was predeceased by his parents George and Iona Oathout Hogan Sr.; brother Peter Hogan, and brother-in-law Dave Hosfeld.
There will be no prior visitation. You are invited to join George’s family for a Celebration of his Life, Saturday, October 10th, 1 p.m. at the Alton Fire Department, Route 14 in Alton. In lieu of flowers the family requests contributions to help defray funeral expenses.
