Wolcott: Passed away on Saturday October 1st, at age 99. Marjorie would have celebrated her 100th birthday on December 1st. She is survived by her son Robert (Sharon) Youngs of Red Creek; grandchildren William, John and Michelle; and 8 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband William in 1975. Marjorie was formerly the Mayor of Cato, was owner and operator of the Cato Diner, and was a member of the Wolcott Fire Department Auxiliary and the Wolcott Elks Auxiliary. She had also worked for Buckminster’s and the Paddock Hardware Store in Wolcott. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday October 6th, at the Huron Evergreen Cemetery. Her family requests no flowers, and instead consider a donation in her memory to the Wayne County Nursing Home in Lyons. Arrangements, Norton Funeral Home of Wolcott.
