Dear Roger, Larry, Scott, Paul and the rest of the Arliss family,
Although I only met Ella in passing by the house, I'm certain based on the character of her boys, she's the reason you guys are what you are today.
I'm thankful to do business with you and your generosity outside of the workplace to allow me to run around your farm chasing my "furry friends" with a bow/arrow as Roger calls them. I truly appreciate our friendship.
If I can help the family out in anyway, please let me know.
Sincerely,
Scott

I have such great memories of Pit farms, especially Ella's kitchen. She must have cooked for 10,000 people (hunteres) over the years. Always a smile no matter what. My deep condolences to Rooger, Fred, Larry and the whole family. The warm welcome I always received on Lock Pit Road is a very bright spot in that part of my life. My condolences to all, God Bless

I have a lot of good memories of growing up on our little dead end road. Ella is in many of them. I spent more time at the Arliss farm and hanging with all those fine folks than I spent at home when I was younger.
My deepest condolences to Freddy, Rog, Larry, Bill, Ida, Randy, Phil, Shelly, Chas and Scotty and all the daughters and son in laws, grandkids, nieces, nephews and anyone else I missed.
Ella was a great woman. She will be missed.

Larry, and your family,
It is so difficult when we lose our moms, no matter how old they are. You must feel a terrible void, although she will always be with you in spirit. My deepest sympathy to you, Roger and Fred.
Warmest regards,

Roger, Larry and Family: I was so sad to hear about the passing of your Mom. I only met her a few times at the door of the family farm house and at the Vanderbilt opening day lunches. She always impressed me as a strong, intelligent and simple women who raised a loving and strong family. Please know that my wife and I are thinking about your family in this very difficult and painful time. Craig Larter
