Obituary of Nancy K. Wood

Fairville: Age 58, lost a courageous battle with breast cancer at her home on November 19, 2015. Nancy was the daughter of the late Fred and Evelyn Hammond. She was a gentle, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Nancy is survived by her husband of 39 years, William Wood; daughters Sandra (Steven) Cieplinski and Kimberly Wood; grandchildren McKinnly Hoad and Nathan Cieplinski; special thanks for the care given by her sister Bonnie Wilkinson, and brother in-law Dale Wood. Nancy was a long time member of the Fairville Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary, and a number of gas engine and tractor clubs.
There will be no prior visitation; interment will be in Port Gibson Cemetery at the convenience of her family. Please consider a memorial donation to the Fairville Fire Department Ambulance Fund, or the Ladies Auxiliary, 2963 Route 88, Newark, NY 14513. Arr: Norton Funeral Home of Sodus.
