Evelyn, 91, passed away on December 12, 2015 at the Wayne County Nursing Home. She was born to the late Vern and Maude (Middleton) Schutt on June 5, 1924 in Webster NY. Evelyn is survived by her devoted daughters Sally (Randy) James, Deborah Johnson, and Karen Martin; her sister Kathleen Jones; her brother William (Joan) Schutt; her grandchildren Marcus (Lisa) James, Angela (Jared) Laird, Nathaniel (Nikki) Johnson, Jason Martin, Joshua Martin and Jacob Martin, her great-grandchildren Alex, Ethan, and Emily James, Jacob and Evan Laird; as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. She also leaves behind her beloved rescue dog, Bear. Evelyn is predeceased by her brother Richard Schutt and grandson Erick James. She will be remembered for her quick wit, expressive hands and love of sports…especially football and Brett Favre.
Services for Evelyn will be private and at the convenience of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Wayne County 1475 County House Road, Lyons NY or to the Wayne County Nursing Home 1529 Nye Road, Lyons NY.
