I remember Bill when I was a small boy; he worked on the farm for my grandfather, George Colvin. As I remember, he was always good to me an my cousin and was willing to "fool around" and have a little fun with us. My last contact with him was when I noticed him jogging on Draper Street in Wolcott when I was up there for a family reunion. I stopped and we chatted for several minutes. Great guy and lived a great life.
Peace,
Gene Colvin

Cherie, so sorry to hear of your dad's passing. He sure was a "town staple". Everyone knew him. We saw him run for years and walk in his later years. Quite a man of stamina. I enjoyed talking with him when we went to the VFW for fish fry. He told me about buying the house in one of our conversations. He was pretty proud that he still lived there. Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

I am very sad to hear of Bill's passing. It was my pleasure to know such a noble man. I would see him run (in his earlier years) and then later on in his life, walk by my house every day - rain, snow or shine. Often I would be in my yard as he was going by and he would always take the time to stop by for a "chat". I'll miss his big smile and his friendly wave. My condolences to his family. Rest in peace Bill.
