Viola Cornwell, 94, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, June 11th, 2016. She is predeceased by her husband, Carlton; parents, Peter and Johanna VanHoute; grandson, Lance Cornwell; and infant great granddaughter, Lauren Goddard. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Wayne) Miller, Linda (Dale) Bushart, Kimberly (Brian) Hotto; sons, William (Charlene) Cornwell, Jim (Kathy) Cornwell, Carl (Ann) Cornwell, Robert (Yvonne) Cornwell; brother, Lewis VanHoute of Ohio: 26 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and gardening. She will be missed greatly. Burial will be at the Baptist Rural Cemetery in Sodus on Wednesday June 15, 2016 at 12 noon. A memorial service will be held immediately following the burial at the Alton Free Methodist Church in Alton, NY.
