RIP dear Delores. Don and just heard of your passing this week. You were a wonderful friend whom we met while renting a cottage on the loop next to your home several years ago. Since then we had stayed in touch and cherished your friendship and your generosity, offering us your private dock to fish from whenever we wanted. You never missed a holiday, sending us a card. You will be dearly missed by Don and me, as well as our grown children and grandchildren, and remembered as the nicest, warmest and most generous person in Sodus Point!! Rest easy dear friend.

I will miss Dolores very much. I first met her when i babysat for Donny and Darcie. She was such a wonderful woman. And boy, could she ever cook. We worked on many church suppers together and made apple pies at the church hall for several functions. She was a great friend to my mother, Rena. They would write back and forth for years after Dolores moved to Sodus Point. I would read my mom her letters and we both would laugh and have fun reading the different antics that her grandkids did or the visits she would be making to visit her daughter, Darcie and the twins. Heaven is getting a beautiful angel. God speed Dolores! RIP

My heart sank when I learned of your mom's passing. We've been co-workers at Garlock and friends for over 30 years. I didn't stay in touch with her as often as I should've in recent years, but I could always count on a birthday card (as our birthdays were only a day apart) and a Christmas card from her. I knew she was failing when I didn't receive a Christmas card this year. I have many good memories of her that I will forever treasure. I love the photo above, as she was always smiling. My sincerest sympathies to your family.
