Obituary of Dolores Anne McGinn

Dolores passed away peacefully on Friday, February 2, 2018 at the age of 78, after a long courageous battle with cancer, with her family by her side.  Born on June 21, 1939 in Clyde New York, Dolores was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Louise Salerno, sister & brother-in-law, Frank & Gloria DeLeo, and husband, Nelson F. McGinn.  She is survived by her son, Donald P. McGinn (Maggie DiSanto) of Macedon, NY, daughter, Darcie A. Lugus (Michael Monetta) of Charlottesville, VA, and grandchildren, Sean McGinn, Rachael McGinn, Michael McGinn, Carly Lugus & Stephanie Lugus.

Friends and family are invited to call 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm Friday, February 9th at the Norton Funeral Home, 45 W. Main Street, Sodus, NY 14551.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10am on Saturday, February 10th, at St. John’s Church, 114 Sodus St., Clyde, NY.  Interment at the convenience of the family.  In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in her memory to: Pines of Peace Hospice Home, 2378 Ridge Rd., Ontario, NY 14519, whose wonderful staff we can’t thank enough for all the love, kindness and care they have shown our mother.
