Sodus: Passed away at age 95 on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at Newark Wayne Hospital, surrounded by family.

Daniel was loved by many. He spent 6 years in the military representing both the Army and Navy. Daniel worked as a milkman before working for Seneca Foods Cold Storage, where he retired from.

Daniel was predeceased by his parents, Daniel and Mary Cooper; his brother, James Cooper; son, Steven Cooper and daughters, Debbie Chappell and Patty LaMore. He is survived by his sons, Gary Cooper, Jody (Kathy) Cooper; daughter, Christine (Nate) Cianciola; grandchildren, Brittany (Carlos) Banks, Joshua Cooper, Jason Cooper, Shawn Cooper, Travis Chappell, Bridget Chappell, Jamie LaMore, Nicole LaMore; numerous great-grandchildren; along with his cat, CC and dog, Bernie.

Friends and family are invited to call 1pm – 2p, Friday, September 30, 2022 at Norton Funeral Home, 45 W Main St, Sodus, NY 14551. Interment in Sodus Rural Cemetery with military honors at 2:15pm.
