Obituary of Herbert R. Aceto

Williamson: Age 72, on Saturday July 16th, at his home. Herb is survived by his wife of 51 years, Judy; children Deanne (Kevin) Spear, Denise (Richard) Boone and Reggie (Donna) Aceto; very special grandchildren Caleb and Justine Boone, Jordan, Michele and Parker Spear, Lauren and Bridget Aceto; brothers Gary (Carol), Bill and Thomas; sister Wendy (Thomas) Torchedlo.; many special nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and close friends. Herb was predeceased by his son Randall Aceto, parents Edo and Luella, sister Peggy Campbell, and half-brother Douglas Brummel. A graduate of Marion Central School, he was meat manager at Hegedorn’s in Webster for 32 years. Herb was a past Commissioner of the Williamson Fire Department, as well as being involved in many town activities. Instrumental to Williamson Girl’s Soccer in the 80’s, he was Assistant J.V. Boy’s Soccer Coach until his illness prevented him from doing so. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Tuesday evening (7/19), 7 p.m. at the United Third Methodist Church of Sodus. The family has requested that donations in lieu of flowers be sent to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, c/o Rochester, NY Chapter, 6931 Arlington Rd, Bethesda, MD 20814.
