We were so saddened to hear of Bob's passing. Bob and Fran were some of our earliest acquaintances when we first moved to Tully. Our friendship endured thru out the past 40 years. We will sorely miss his wit and wisdom, and he will live on in some of our fondest memories..

First my sincere condolences to the Dennison family. Bob will be missed greatly by one and all. When I started in Girl Scouts, Bob was so very helpful in our day camp events. Camp Hoover was always one of my favorite places and a large part of that was due to Bob and his friendly nature. One of the highlights of my trips there (and there were many over the last 30 some years) was when Bob stopped over to chat. He was one of a kind and he truly made the world a better place. Thanks for all he did for Girl Scouting in general and for me in particular.

I helped for two summers putting up tents, know all family members but never knew he was Air Force....I saw the A.F. emblem and it brought a tear to my eye. My first thought was I never knew this of him and it was quite depressing when I thought, I wish I would have talked to him about his time in the military...then I thought back to the summers I worked for him and what some of his comments might be about the comparison of our services. His wise comments still resonate in my head about putting up tents, I can only imagine talking military with him. As an Air Force man for 22 years I feel compelled to join you and to try and add some condolences at this time but the military is pressing me to stay here, I have an IG inspection on monday but my thoughts are with you all at this time. Bev an Andy I am so sorry about your loss, Frannie, I hope to have that many years with my wife....I only hope she shares my enthusiasm. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you...Mike.

I knew Bob through Camp Hoover in the days when I was a volunteer. He was a wonderful asset to the camp and always found whatever we needed and fixed things whenever it was brought to his attention. He had a great sense of humor and we loved him dearly. May God be with each of you as you adjust to his absence amoung you.

I remember Bob fondly, he was always at the Deli when I was managing it, making people laugh. He always had some wise crack to make and usually had the place in stitches. He was one of the neatest men in Tully and will be missed tremendously. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you and especially to his wife Frannie who is an amazing woman. Love to you all and God bless.

Very nice obituary - did he write it himself? LOL Seriously, Bob will be missed in the town and especially at Burger King where I would occassionally bump into him. He always remembered me. I served coffee to him at the Tully Deli (now Elm Street Cafe) when that was his coffee hang-out! He always made me laugh with the wisecracks..never ending. Andy, you have big shoes to fill..but you are on your way!!

Uncle Bob,
You were the closest thing I had to my father. I loved you very much. I was very lucky to be able to see you more during the times I was able to work at Fort Drum and treasured all the moments we had. I will miss you Uncle Bob but I know you are with my father. Love you. Joan

Dear Andy and family,
Please accept my deepest sympathy in the passing of your dad. I can remember many times when my Song Lake friends and I used to sneak down into Camp Hoover trying very hard to be quiet as we walked passed the Dennison home. We so wanted to know what secrets went on in Camp Hoover. LOL......To our discouragement, nothing at all.
Again, my deepest sympathy to you and yours.
Kitty
