Carol and Cindy,
I was so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. He was so kind and friendly. I fondly remember all the good times we had at your house when we were in high school, Carol. In the last several years, we would always chat when he walked by with his little dog. I often saw him in church. The last two years he was in Sodus, I often gave him a ride home from church. The last time I did that, he was leaving for Florida. As he got out of the car, he said, "See you next year, Sandi" and I believed it in spite of his advanced age.
He was amazing...I never saw him wear glasses, and when he was at the farmers' market, he always refused a ride home in spite of the number of purchases he was carrying. He will be missed by many in our community.
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your families.
